Hotel Prens Berlin

Poor

Disliked: The cleaning lady was knocking on our door in the morning despite the “do not disturb” sign hanging on our door. When we opened the door she told us to leave the room even though our check-out time was at 12:00 and it was only 11:20. She was rude and disrespectful. Besides the hotel was fine but this experience definitely left us with bad opinion about this place. Unfortunately, I do not recommend.

Liked: Loved everything. Seriously.Getting there was so easy with the Schönleinstraße metro station just a few steps from it, and the whole staff is so, so lovely. <3The neighborhood is fantastic. Loved Kreuzberg! That's the district for me in Berlin.The fair around the corner on Tuesday.. all the stores and art and and colors and restaurants and people and history and stories...I do have plans to go back to Berlin, and i really hope i can stay at Prens again. <3

Liked: Clean, comfortable room. Everything looks clean and new. Close to public transport and grocery shops.
Disliked: It was very hot in the room. Thanks there were air fan, but still very hot.

Disappointing cleanliness and staff assistance,...

Liked: Good location. Lots of restaurants nearby and direct access to public transportation. The neighborhood can get creepy at night but it was not an issue for us.Beds are comfortable.
Disliked: The cleanliness of the room was not satisfactory + the water would not go down the drain in the shower and despite reporting it upon arrival, nothing was done during our 3 nights stay (no offer to change the room, no intervention to solve the issue...).We were told upon arrival that we could leave our luggage at the hotel after check-out, but when we actually did, the person at the front desk told us to put them randomly in the common room and that she would not keep an eye on them, so that we left them at our own risk..No air-conditioning in the rooms, therefore we had to leave the windows open and the street is very noisy.

Liked: Amazing location, parking was easy and the staff we spoke with, were friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Inside cub-bards was quite dusty. Breakfast was quite simple.

Liked: Location , close to trains, some nice restaurants , not overly touristy
Disliked: Early morning noise from garbage pick up
