Very good
Liked: Good location with parking. LOts of charm. Parking available.
Disliked: Rules for guests at the pool are not enforced, thus loud music and people drinking till late. Made it hard to sleep. I would stay again. it could have been an off night.

Posada San Javier it was...
Liked: The view was very good.
Disliked: The receptionist wasn't fair. During our stay two times some tried to open our room door and when we mentioned it to the receptionist, she just said that maybe it was some body that confused the room. They have some peacocks In the garden, they are too noisy and it was not possible to sleep well. It was very hot inside the room and there was no air condition at all.

Amazing place!
Liked: Place was incredible. Beautiful views from our giant room. Great pool. Amazing location. Taxco is amazing and you really get the full experience here. The place straddles the hills and you have impressive views and can exit from the top. Couldn't be happier with the stay. And the breakfast buffet was absolutely amazing. Rarely do I pay for that but omg it was SO worth it.
Disliked: No ac, could get hot in the summer but the place is well designed and actually had a fan so it was no problem at all.

Amazing stay at a colonial...
Liked: I stayed for 1 night at Posada San Javier with my 17yo twins. We all loved the place: The colonial building, the beautiful peacocks walking around the gardens, the roof top restaurant and the amazing views, and the beds were very comfortable. There was a swimming pool that my sons wanted to use but it was cold (January 2025) and we hadn't brought bathers. My sons asked why we didn't stay longer in Taxco! (And I thought they wouldn't like a small town).

Good location old and smelly...
Liked: The location is great. If you book a room with a view You would be able to see the Prisca church and the surrounding areas in the hills.Just an old building with charm. The building has a pool and you can see their peacocks free around the garden.
Disliked: The bathroom smell like shit literally and all the drainage holes don’t suck the water off. We have to close them off with toilet paper to avoid the awful smell coming from them The hot water doesn’t run for a long time. The beds are very uncomfortable they’ve join 2 beds to make a bigger one and the linen is from the last century including sheets and covers,They look and feel disgusting. The property does not have any internal lift so get ready to carry your luggage up from a stone staircase. This place is not for elderly person and is not disabled accessible. Get ready to not be able to sleep as you will be hearing the church bells every hour of the day including night time. We were unable to sleep and rest due to the noise.
