Hotel and staff were exceptional.

Liked: Everything was exceptional. The only thing which is very small is that the coffee tea and loo rolls were not replaced. So had to ask reception for new. Which was no hassle for them. Again it was only this otherwise an exceptional stay.

Liked: Everything worked! It was updated, clean, comfortable. Modern scheme adapted to an old beautiful property. My room was quiet as I requested. I was at first given a room facing the windows of another property on the street. Thankfully, after talking to the manager, he was able to accommodate my original request and give me a garden view. The garden area was nice for breakfast.
Disliked: The rooms are small. Not a lot of natural light made its way into my room. The breakfast scrambled eggs were in kind a soup making me wonder if they were from a powder mix.

Liked: Good athmosphere, good breakfast and we enjoyed the little garden in the hotel.

Exceptional

Liked: Friendly employees. We had particular request about the room which was immediately taken care of. 10 min by foot to the cathedral. Large garden 4 min away for jogging. Great breakfast. Again, friendly employees.
Disliked: Parking is an issue, as in all the cities in Italy. They do issue a parking ticket for the blue zone, but finding a slot can be a challenge. Large parking available ca. 800 m next to the garden.
