Liked: lovely decorated room, excellent breakfast ,friendly helpful staff
Disliked: only negatives only 2 plug sockets in the room the advert for meals is wrong they don't serve evening meals

Country house hotel vibe, good...

Liked: We arrived too late for dinner, but the reception staff were very helpful calling round local restaurants until they found a place that could serve us. The next evening, we sat on the covered terrace outside the bar with friends - very efficient fire pit made it lovely and warm, despite the evening chill!
Disliked: There is no lift (understandable, it's a lovely old house) which meant carrying a heavy suitcase up a staircase and through some awkward, heavy fire doors.

Disliked: Hotel had closed restaurant so no evening meals available, this had only happened a couple of weeks before stay but hotel had not bothered to communicate this to me before arrival (& after chance to cancel booking).
