Liked: Loved the comfy beds and gorgeous views, the quiet after everyone not at the hotel had gone, watching the sun set and then rise, the friendly staff and the excellent breakfast.
Disliked: the food at dinner was acceptable not great.

An excellent hotel in a...

Liked: From arriving to leaving this hotel was a very special experience. The location at over 2000 metres is pretty unique. The staff all excellent and little touches like the welcome cup of tea, fresh fruit in the room were lovely. We stayed in room 401, a Junior Suite with double aspect windows giving panoramic mountain views. Both a coffee maker and a kettle provided. Both the included four course dinner and breakfast were excellent.

Liked: View is fantastic and room is very clean.
Disliked: Breakfast is quite disappointing for a 4 stars hotel. The staff was very nice except for one man with white hair that is behind the ticket counter (I don't know his name). Every time we talk to him he was very sarcastic and rude, acting like we asking stupid questions. Switzerland, being known as a role model for hospitality services, was very disappointing. I live in Malaysia and the hospitality here is 10 times better than Switzerland. Beds are too soft, and when we ask for extra pillow they take ages to delivery, we have to call 3 times... Lastly, our stay is supposed to be halfboard (including breakfast and dinner), but for dinner they only give food, for any beverage need to pay, even water, which is crazy.

Disliked: Food was below average especially for the price. Room was too hot and uncomfortable. No reception staff in the evening which is odd as you're on top of a mountain and totally secluded.
