This 3-star hotel lies in a quiet side-street near Köln-Deutz Train Station. It is a 5-minute walk from the Lanxess Arena Kölnmesse exhibition center and a 15-minute walk from Cologne Cathedral. Hotel Pilar provides contemporary rooms decorated with individual artworks. All rooms include free Wi-Fi a flat-screen TV mini-bar and a private bathroom. The rooms and bathrooms were newly renovated in November 2015. A rich buffet is provided every morning in the stylish breakfast room which is also individually decorated. It’s a good hotel for...

Liked: Excellent location, safe and clean. Suitable for short stay.
Disliked: No lift but can’t complaint with the price we paid. Overall very satisfy.

The hotel had an excellent...

Liked: The hotel had an excellent location, right across from Cologne Messe/Deutz train station, and it was close to the magnificent Lanxess Arena, where we came to attend a concert. It was also very close to the city center of Cologne, and within about a 20-minute walk, you can reach the city center and the famous cathedral. The hotel was very clean, compact, and small, but perfectly adequate.
Disliked: nothing!
