Occupying a historic Art Nouveau building in the Josefstadt district opposite the University Campus this family-run 4-star guest house Pension Excellence is only 5 minutes' walk from Vienna's Town Hall the Schottentor/Universität Underground Station and the Ringstraße boulevard. Free WiFi is available in all areas. Rooms at the Pension Excellence are all nonsmoking and feature adjustable air-conditioning while soundproof windows are installed for all street facing rooms. They come with a flat-screen cable TV mini-bar safe allergy-friendly wooden floors leather box-spring beds and a bathroom. A buffet breakfast is served in the elegant breakfast room from 07:00 until 10:00. A 24-hour reception is available and 5 underground parking spaces are available on request and subject to availability. It’s good place to stay...

Liked: The location is very good, could walk to most of the main attractions. The staff is helpful and the building is although old but very beautiful and authentic.
Disliked: I would probably expect a fresh bottle of water on a daily basis without me having to ask for it, also there wasn’t a soap in my room which I would expect to be checked by staff and I kept forgetting to remind as I was mostly coming quite late in the evening.

Liked: Well- what dit I like? 4 out of 10 I understand why the price is low. I just crashed for a night- and that was more than enough. The place really need some renovation. I stayed on better places in the 90s.Breakfast could become so much more better with just a bit more effort
