I highly recommend staying here....

Liked: Everything!!! The location is the best in the city center! It was a Michelin hotel in 2021! From my balcony I heard a symphony. The church adjacent to Hotel Plaza de Altamira had a live symphony playing a concert. The rooms are spotless and comfortable.
Disliked: I can't think of one negative thing regarding my stay or this hotel!

Nice hotel, lovely staff ,...

Liked: Alba the receptionist was excellent - friendly and helpful. Location was very convenient.
Disliked: The location was very noisy due to local bars and rowdy customers until 4am . As a result we didn’t sleep well. It was a Friday night so may be quieter on other days.Also the hotel offered to look after our luggage but kept it in view in the open reception area and when we returned we were surprised no one was there so they could have been taken. Perhaps a secure area to keep bags would be a good idea.

Superb

Liked: Location, staff, rooms were large for three individuals. One of the ladies in our group got ill. Staff helped us find a hospital and checked in on us regularly

Exceptional

Liked: Very central. The room was bright, full of natural lighting from its many floor to ceiling windows, and the high ceilings added a spacious feel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Enjoyed my stay here and would recommend this property.

Clean, beautiful room but difficult...

Liked: Super clean, good space, nice view and great location to walk around the city.
Disliked: They have an emergency light on in the room. If you are used to sleep in the dark you really need a mask. I struggled the first night. Then reception gave me a mask but I don’t feel comfortable wearing a mask during sleep so I wouldn’t return.

Wonderful!

Liked: Very beautiful design, comfortable beds with clean sheets, and the bathroom was clean and had everything we needed. Location was also very good. In the heart of Santiago. Close to all shops, restaurants and the Cathedral.

We were looked after very...

Liked: Great location, lovely staff and restaurant
Disliked: The led to the large emergency light was near the bed and illuminated the entire room all night. Less invasive light fittings are available and more appropriate for hotel use.
