Disliked: This is the 4th time we have stayed. It has apparently been taken over by new management. Very disappointing. Staff is courteous but have a new set of rules to abide by and inform of. From the reservation confirmation to the check in it feels like the guest is treated as the enemy. “Welcome…no visitors, no pets, no no no and etc”. Over the years the furniture and fittings have not been upgraded or maintained. The small kitchen now has no working sink, the small fridge is not plugged in, water bottle is not replaced during your stay, umbrellas (it was raining hard) are not available to borrow, they must be purchased,…the hotel has become very very stingy. The price has gone up substantially and the overall quality has gone down. The breakfast is no longer included. It’s a shame really, because we won’t be back. There is a newly opened hotel on the park and we will be staying there next time. It’s all about the location for us. I’m really sorry to say this because Hotel Parque Mexico is so handsome and the location is perfect. The beautiful rooftop restaurant is also a disappointment. Even though we were no longer offered breakfast as part of our stay…we went up, and it was very very expensive and nothing special at all. Service was ok but the feeling g overall is the same as we got from the desk, it’s all about the “no”. This comes with that but you can’t have the other unless you pay more …. is the type of service. Staff overall seems to be embarrassed by the rules as well they should. Management is not very good at hospitality. Feels like they are just milking every dime they can out of the place with no overall joy or excitement about who they are or what they have to offer. It’s only because we have stayed there before we see and feel the changes. Overall we will miss it, but we won’t be going back. It’s definitely not worth the extra cost. The room price nearly doubled by the way. Sheesh!

Liked: The location was nice. Parque mexico is amazing
Disliked: The bathroom was not appealing. There was a sound everyday at 7 am waking us from the laundry room. The bed was uncomfortable. We had a kitchen but we couldnt use it, everything was out of service.
