Lovely

Liked: This hotel is in a historic building in the old town. Lovely art and decor. I really enjoyed the spa, with it's jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room. We walked all over from here. I'd stay again. Breakfast was excellent! The room was quiet, even though there was a lot of pedestrian traffic below our window.
Disliked: Not the hotel's fault but there was street construction.

Good location....not a 5 star...

Liked: Good location, 10 mins walk to main square, 15 mins walk to Charles bridge. Clean installations. Historical building
Disliked: Staff is definitely not at a 5 star level, not close unfortunately. This is more of mid level hotel service and amenities. Just a simple example, they only provide a bottle of water on the first night of your stay, but no water is available for subsequent nights per hotel policy. When I first asked for water on the second night, the front desk staff sternly informed me of hotel policy and directed me to the restaurant bar to purchase water. Laundry bags must be taken down to the reception by the guest, the cleaning staff will not pick it up, per hotel policy. Concierge service is minimal , when available. Bathrooms in the rooms are tiny, even for European standards, with step in bathtub showers and hand held spray only. Tile in bathroom seems from several generations ago. Needs a renovation to be considered a competitive hotel in such a beautiful and global city such as Prague.

Liked: Absolutely beautiful hotel - very close to everything. Big size rooms. Staff very friendly. The only thing that could do with improvement, is the breakfast - it was a little underwhelming. Maybe suggest someone cooking some fresh eggs/omelette? What was there was cold.
