Wonderful hotel

Liked: This is one of my favourite hotels in the world. Fantastic art deco style, down to the net curtains! Kept in pristine condition, which is expensive, hence high prices. I always have a junior suite on the back, very quiet. Separate toilet is nice. Huge bath for wallowing in, and bath salts, a nice touch. Walk in shower. Efficient aircon. Very well furnished rooms. Excellent breakfast, all you could want, proper tablecloths, and napkins. Teapots a plus!
Disliked: Bath towels could be bigger, and fluffier. Tv is complicated to work, you have to access WiFi through tv. Lifts are original, and delightful, but not coordinated, so you always have to press both buttons, there are 2 lifts, and they come at the same time! A minor issue. More comfortable chairs in the room would be good, bit hard for relaxing.
