Well located, a short walk...
Liked: The staff were friendly and helpful
Disliked: The room was small , as you'd expect, but had everything we needed. Happily it looked into the well of hte hotel and was therefore quiet

Enjoyable short stay in Paris
Liked: A return visit after staying here 2 years ago, a bit out of the way but close enough to Gare du Nord and Montmartre. Comfortable but nothing special other than the lovely outdoor space for breakfast. The fruit stall over the road was very handy

Disliked: The breakfast room was very crowded, but the breakfast was a good, typical European breakfast.

Liked: Hotel is close to the Gare du Nord station and outside is a Metro station. Basic hotel and good value.

Disappointing business practices
Liked: We stayed at this hotel in early June and then went to Croatia for 2 weeks before returning for one night prior to our flight home. The hotel is clean and close to Gare du Nord.
Disliked: When traveling I often like to ask the hotel to book our taxis to avoid confusion given we may not speak the language and to ensure we are getting a reputable taxi company so we don't get ripped off as tourists. During our initial stay in early June we asked the hotel to book a cab to Orly airport when we flew out to Croatia. The taxi picked up as planned and we assumed we were going to Orly as the hotel had assured us this was the case. When I started to see signs for Charles de Gaulle airport, I questioned the driver (whose English was not great) and said we were going to Orly. He became quite upset but, turned around and eventually got us to Orly in time for our flight. However, he wanted to charge us double (a trip to Charles de Gaulle and a trip to Orly; each at 65.00 euros). My husband said no but, the driver was insistent and belligerent. My husband negotiated and we ended up paying 100 euros. We notified the hotel and they said they would request a refund of 35 euros. When we returned to the hotel 2 weeks later they said the cab company never responded to their request. We questioned this but, we were told they arranged the taxi "to be helpful" and whatever happened between us and the taxi driver is not their responsibility. I suggested they may want to notify their guests that they cannot speak to the reputation of the cab company they are using and guests can proceed "at our own risk" if we so choose. Overall, it was very disappointing they would not stand behind a service they arranged for us.

Disappointing because of the lack...
Liked: Location. Bed comfortable.
Disliked: No wifi second day. Bathroom was a large room without a separate shower. Bathroom floor was flooded all the time.

We had a short but...
Liked: Great location- close to Metro and cafes. Friendly staff. Great ,fresh breakfast - which they were kind enough to extend as we arrived late. Exceptionally clean and well maintained . Nice atmosphere and friendly staff.

Liked: Comfortable, clean room with balcony & adequate exterior sound proofing.on 5th floor.10 - 15 minute walk to Gard du Nord with good connections via RER to the many sights of Paris.Two night stay.Dog-friendly hotel
Disliked: The route & area surrounding Gare De L'est
