Disappointing

Liked: The air condition wasn't working for 90% of the hotel. The street was quite noisy, and of course I had to open the window for air. Sleeping was tough. A bunch of folks ended up leaving and getting refunds. The staff was nice, but the heat was bad, even with a fan.

Problems after problems....

Liked: It's centrally located within easy reach of the metro and shops.
Disliked: The air conditioning unit was not working, the shower head had to be replaced, the manager was very rude, the telephone in the room was faulty, tea bags were not replenished every day, the toilet in the lobby was filthy!

Sweat box in Paris

Disliked: It was a heatwave and no aircon in room. It was a sweat box. We were not offered an alternative room nor even a free breakfast which would have been something

Uncomfortable but manageable due to...

Liked: The location of the hotel is good. The rooms are clean and spacious. Breakfast was decent but nothing special as the breads were stale.
Disliked: We arrived during Paris Air Show week and also a heat wave week. The hotel failed to notify us prior to our arrival that there will be no air conditioning available during our stay. They had not provided us with fans until we requested them. It was extremely warm in the room to the point where you could not stay in the room after you have had a cold shower. The hotel should have reached out and offered to change our bookings or cancel if we wished to do so prior to our arrival in the city
