Very expensive dated student hostel

Liked: Lobby was nice, staff as well
Disliked: Seriously dated rooms with rust and damage everywhere. Looks like a student hostel. The elevator gave me an anxiety, sounds line its going to fall appart any minute. They do charge however as 4* in a centre of Amsterdam.

Liked: Location is perfect.
Disliked: Room ceiling is like an office

Pleasant

Liked: Comfortable beds, nice, quiet location.
Disliked: There was no iron, hairdryer, phone to contact reception, tea/coffee amenities in the room - found this a bit disappointing for a 4 start hotel. Breakfast price for a 3 year old is the same as for an adult (20 euros) - which I found absurd.

Exceptional

Liked: the location is a bit outside of the city, but there is bus, although not very frequent.
Disliked: the bed sheet, still smell of athletes :(

Disliked: Hotel room was very basic no ventilation no renovation sadly not what we expected :/ Dinner was really expensive, icelandic prices. Did the online check-in took forever but just did it. But still had to sign a paper upon checkin and pay tourist tax seperatly once again the card that makes it 3 times before room key
