No one was there for...
Liked: No one was there for check in!!! So we didn’t enter any room!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We called all the numbers for hours and no one answered!!!!!!!! I sent million messages on booking and no one answered!!!!! And we arrive on 17:00 which is normal hour for check in we stayed till 22:22 and no one came to the reception!!!

Didnt go back again and...
Liked: It was so bad the first time I stayed, I did not bother going back again for more on this stay but stayed elsewhere. See previous entry.
Disliked: Everything - primarily the place did not have anyone else apart from the maid during the day.

Probably the worst hotel I...
Liked: The maid was really helpful and pleasant and I felt really sorry for her as she seemed to have been left to keep the place afloat in the absence of anyone else to staff it. If it were not for her I am not sure what I would have done.She had done a great job of my room so it was clean and the bed was made.
Disliked: Where were the staff????I arrived late due to problems with my flight connection and was due to stay two nights but only spent one there. I arrived about 11am and waited until check in at 2pm. No one appeared in this time. The maid appeared before she left and gave me a key so I saw myself into the room. There were no staff present at any time during the remainder of the day or the next morning. Other visitors appeared and it seemed that people just took a random key and let themselves into a room. They tried ringing the owner but the call was cut off at the other end. No messages answered.The room itself was hot and stuffy. I had an impossible choice between leaving the window open and letting loads of flies and mosquitos in (this turned out to be a very bad idea) or keeping the window closed and using the largely ineffectual, really noisy air conditioning. Next morning, after a rotten nights sleep in a hot stultifying room with rattling air con, there was no breakfast available as there was still no one there. I left my keys at the reception and left. I was due to stay there the following week on the way back after the wedding but stayed elsewhere instead.

Liked: Leaving
Disliked: No staff, contact with the owner was very difficult, rooms were not clean. When we arrived it was a big mess and there was a basket with keys on the counter, for anyone to grab whatever key they wanted. We booked a different hotel, because this truly felt like a scam.

Worst hotel we’ve ever stayed...
Liked: Don’t stay here. The only thing we “liked” was the funny irony of the situation and connecting with the other appalled travelers who were stuck there about how bad it was. The cleaning lady was also very kind, but not given enough time or pay to do any full cleans, and didn’t speak English. At first glance the room looks okay, but a lot of the furniture is broken, and there are many issues.
Disliked: Hotel does not have any staff or services. We tried calling the number but no response after the first call. No attendant for checking in or out, and no collection for city tax. Serious security concerns too as the keys are just in a basket at the reception desk, and the master key was just left out. We did not receive what we paid for: No complementary breakfast, air conditioning dysfunctional, no minibar, mold in the shower, towel bar, and sink, and hairball lint was in the shower and on the bed. I’ve spoken to several other people staying here with the same issues. Because the airconditioner is broken, the room is unbearable without opening the windows, which lets in mosquitoes that eat us alive. This has been our worst experience in any hotel, and we’re trying to get a refund, but that’s also proving very difficult as there are no staff, and the people on the phone can’t/won’t help. Booking.com is trying to help and reach a resolution, but there’s been a lot of back and forth and headaches with this. Other booking sites have given full refunds. This hotel has devolved into full anarchy.

Fawlty Towers - Don’t go...
Liked: The bed was clean and comfortable
Disliked: The bedroom was in the roof with a skylight as a window. On the window was a broken blind!! The toilet was literally in the shower, there was no butter at breakfast and the yoghurts were out of date by 2 days!!

Liked: Staff were lovely and great location.
Disliked: The shower is possibly the worst shower ever, poorly built that you can’t just wash your body you hair will get wet, the door is silly and you end up turning the shower off by just moving around.The breakfast wasn’t great, the breakfast staff bless her she was so lovely but could not make a cappuccino to save her life - worst coffee I had in Italy.
