High quality with friendly staff...

Liked: A really lovely hotel within easy walking distance of Gare du Nord. The staff were incredibly friendly and were able to accommodate a slightly later check-out. Rooms are small but all you need to rest your head and tired legs after exploring the city. Small touches like water in reception and in the rooms, coffee machine with pods provided, and lovely bathroom amenities, were all great. Asked for a room on a high floor overlooking the street which we were given.
Disliked: The room was very warm, and as we had a room overlooking the street it meant it was very loud at night if we wanted to open the window. I'm sure this could have been solved by knowing how to use the heating/air-conditioning system, but no clear instructions were provided. Also, whilst not a problem for us, the lift and stairways are very narrow.This wouldn't stop me from recommending it or staying again.
