Fantastic Stay!

Liked: We loved the property and its fantastic location within walking distance to many key attractions. We especially appreciated the front desk especially Joanna and her colleagues who went above and beyond with advice and tips with navigating Paris. The housekeeping staff also did a wonderful job ensuring our rooms were perfect each day. We will be back for sure and would highly recommend this hotel.

The perfect place to stay...

Liked: Great position to get to all the major attractions that the city has to offer. Staff were really friendly and efficient, both prior to our stay and during. Joanna on the front desk was excellent.

Can’t quite make up my...

Liked: It was elaborately designed, the rooms looked beautiful, luxurious towels. Location was not far from the Opera and Louvre districts. Staff were very welcoming and helpful.
Disliked: Far too clever for its own good. My room was very cold (18C) and the fancy controls didn’t work. Manager had to bring me a heater overnight. Couldn’t phone reception either because the modern phone wouldn’t work so had to go down in the lift. Considering this is an expensive hotel, I have stayed in simple hotels at half the price where everything worked perfectly. The light switches are little black studs on a black background. When you enter the room you are plunged into blackness and can’t see where to put the card in or switch anything on, so you stretch and hold open the door with one hand for light while fiddling to put the card in the slot with the other. A beautiful idea that doesn’t work in practice. My sympathies to the staff.

The stay was bad as...

Liked: The hotel is 2mins walk to the metro and is close proximity to food and attractions.
Disliked: We were housed on the 1st floor(2nd level). It’s super low ceiling (less than 2.2m, I can touch the ceiling with my hands standing up). The acoustic was so bad that that we can hear noises from downstairs(there’s an F&B below us) throughout the night. Moreover we could feel and hear the metro train passing below us.
