It was my daughter's wedding...
Liked: Room service very good...breakfast still hot when delivered.
Spacious room. Extremely friendly desk staff and doormen!!!
Disliked: In the bathroom (room 71) there is a clear glass window with no cover so you are exposed to the outside world while showering or using the bathroom facilities. Very uncomfortable !! I found there was enough light from the outside that I didn't need to put on the light in bathroom to use the facilities after dark. I mentioned this to the desk clerk, but not sure anything will be done to remedy situation.

Really great hotel!
Liked: Very comfortable bed! Room is nice, spacious. Super kind staff! Hotel is very close to metro station, and not far away from financial distrikt by walk.
Disliked: Breakfast in Café Medi wasn't so special and more expensive than other cafés.

Liked: This might be my favorite hotel I?ve stayed in in NYC. The room was huge and well appointed. The bed was ultra comfortable. Fantastic location. The cookies were an awesome touch at the end of a long day.

Liked: Fantastic location!!!
Disliked: The set up of our room was extremely awkward. The bed was almost pushed to the wall and inconvenient plugs and lighting.

Liked: When we checked in we felt very welcome. The staff was very kind and helpful. They had a smile on their faces anytime. What we liked very much was the breakfast in the Cafe Medi at the hotel. In most of the good hotels they only offer buffet breakfast for a high price, what we don't prefer if you don't like to eat that much in the morning. The selection of menu list was perfect and everything was fresh and really good prepared. The rooms were really nice decorated, very clean and the beds very comfortable. The selection of the minibar was as big as I have never seen it before. What I would highly recommend is to book a room in the upper floors (at least 8th floor). Otherwise you have no view and you look at facades of the neighbor houses. Every day, a nice lady knocked on the door and offered cookies. The subway station "delancey street" is just around the corner. We'd love to come back to this hotel and we'll recommend it any time.
Disliked: It's not a complaint, but what I would have appreciated was if it had a cosmetic mirror in the bathroom. There's nothing more to say.

good but not great
Liked: The hotel is good but not great. The first room we had has a handicapped room apparently and the entire bathroom floor was in small tiles that had obviously soaked up urine from the shower as the room smelled of urine and was very off putting. We were forced to change rooms when a pipe burst above us and the second room was much better.
Disliked: The bed was good but the pillows were flat and terrible.

Great place to explore the...
Liked: The corner studio room has a nice spacious sitting area, and the bedroom area of the room has floor to ceiling windows on 2 sides to make you really feel you're floating above part right in the heart of the lower east side. Great location for bar and restaurant hopping on a Saturday night or Sunday afternoon.
Disliked: When you walk in off the street there is no one to great you so it's kind of hard to know that you need to take the elevator up to the second floor where the lobby is. The first floor entry area is kind of bare bones and there's not always a bellman or valet around. So if you need someone for your car or luggage you may have to wait a little while. Would have been nice to have an iron in the room
