The hotel was clean and the staff was great. We will definitely stay there again.

Liked: Great view, great location. Exceptional staff.
Disliked: Air conditioning broke our second night. Very frustrating, but, they moved us to another room.

I miss the old rivington.

Liked: The view was beautiful as always especially for the sunset. The soaking tubs are always a huge draw and there was adequate storage space.
Disliked: There are barely any curtains available to cover all the windows. Its very evident that they are missing .They are missing and is very unsightly and more problematically, exposing, bright, and cold. There's a fraction of them left. The beds are not as comfortable as I remember them and things clearly need a little TLC.

Disappointment.

Liked: Its location and the view from our room.
Disliked: The soaking tub and the shower could not be used because the water didn’t work properly. Also, the TV controls are ancient and could not be connected or provide access to paid subscriptions (ie, Netflix, Amazon or Hulu).

Great location in a heart...

Liked: Great rooftop with a nice view and happy hour every night. Nice spacious room, huge king size bed. Staff was very responsive and courteous to the requests. Hotel is in a great proximity to many bars and restaurants as well as to a subway station which will take you to any part of NYC.
Disliked: Bathroom was too dark with not enough light, the elevator took a while to get to the floor and no breakfast on property besides coffee station.
