Hotel Oderberger

Would think twice about staying...

Liked: Perfectly located with what looked a super pool (see below), breakfast facilities and room layout. Staff were friendly and professional.
Disliked: The second day we were there the hotel began preparing for a conference later in the week which completely took over the hotel to what felt the exclusion of the guests. The pool was closed off conference coffee stalls were set up outside hotel rooms and there were lots of contractors coming and going. No warning from the hotel at check in or before that there was going to be a conference.€7.50 bottled water is extortionate.Didn’t clean our room once while we were there. Full bins when we left (we had our baby son with us so had nappies).

Nice renovation of a public...

Liked: We liked the pool and sauna.
Disliked: The bed duvet wasn't warm enough. Everything costing a supplement, wasn't nice because the room is already very expensive for the amenities to get and asking a supplement for everything asked, isn't what we are used to: Eggs Benedict on the breakfast table; access to pool and sauna etc.The hotel is too expensive in regards to where it is. Prenzlauer Berg is very far away from the city centre and the S-Bahn being interrupted because of renovation reasons had us to take the Taxi all the time. That made our stay far too expensive.
