We were pleasantly surprised by...

Liked: I liked that free coffee was provided *most* mornings. (Coffee pot broke down at one point and went missing for several days.) Also liked the cable TV and that the front desk staff were always quite friendly and helpful. Hotel is a short walking distance to restaurants & everything of interest in downtown GDL.
Disliked: The hotel’s particular location is a bit rough around the edges — more so at night — but not unmanageable. Also, our shower always dripped water, resulting in an always-wet bathroom floor — a little annoying but it was eventually addressed.

Noisy at times. No hot...

Liked: Price
Disliked: Not near enough to the city center. Hotel is not well-maintained.

Disliked: Only one thing. The mattress was too stiff.
