Hotel Norge by Scandic

Superb

Liked: Clean and spacious room with a great view over the lake from the balcony on the 9th floor.The breakfast was really good.We liked the location. Close to many things in Bergen but a little away from the touristic and busy areas (can be good or bad depending on what you want).
Disliked: For the price, the underground parking can perhaps be subsidized or a discount given at least during off-peak months. Otherwise it is very expensive.

Luxury hotel in central location

Liked: Central location, stylish hotel, large room, nice ensuite. Breakfast buffet is very impressive.
Disliked: Spa is not included (even just access to the pool, is an extra charge). I requested late checkout and was told it was too busy. However around the hotel was very empty, they didn't open the bar on level 2 as no one was there to use it. Breakfast closes at 9:30 which is a bit too early!I think all beds in Norway are too soft for me.

Liked: The hotel is very central for trips to the Fjords, to the Funnicular and the bus tours. All staff were very friendly and the hotel was very clean. The pool and spa area is lovely and relaxing!
