The Nikko was less expensive than other area hotels and provided top notch service, room was great, and the in room coffee was even drinkable! A tailored drum group was wonderful entertainment and our walk to the show at the Nob Hill Masonic was steep, but brief.

Liked: Quiet room; comfy bed; great shower and towels!

The hotel itself is very nice, however the room was extremely small, and "no frills". For $250 per night (w/taxes), and $45 + Tax, I know we could've done better.

Liked: Fairly comfortable.
Disliked: Too expensive for a very average, no frill room.

Very good value for money...

Liked: Very good hôtel in the center of San Francisco. We were a bit worried about the location but it was perfectly fine, the neigborhood is safe and location is ideal to visit the city by foot!People at the réception were very helpful and provided excellent advices to go around the city (special thanks to Theresa who was very nice and very professional). The rooms are large and comfortable, breakfast is copious and good. Overall very good price-quality ratio!

Liked: Excellent service and very clean & spacious rooms
Disliked: You have to pay extra for additional tea bags. They only put one tea bag a day in the room. Coffee and tea is $10, very expensive. The restaurant closes by 10pm

Don’t like it

Liked: Room was on 20th floor with a nice view, towels were soft.The dog toy was cute which was the first thing you see when you entered the room first.
Disliked: The bed was not comfortable and the toilet was dirty. There was only 1 bathrobe and no blanket.

Liked: Amazing stay! Check in staff were exceptionally polite and accompanied, rooms were incredibly clean, quiet and modern.

Perfect stay

Liked: This was our second time staying at the Hotel Nikko - the first was 14 years ago. This four-night stay was just as excellent as the last time. The property is lovely and the staff are all gracious. The rooms are quiet and spacious, and we had a great view on the 17th floor. The bed is comfortable. The pool is wonderful! We wished we could have spent more time there. The refillable water bottles in the room are thoughtful, as is the water filter in the hallway. I'm so glad we didn't stay at a big chain.
Disliked: Only thing is that we had to pay $50 to check in early, even though a room was available.
