Margo, Greenfield, visiting The Masonic San Francisco Mon, 22 September 2014
The Nikko was less expensive than other area hotels and provided top notch service, room was great, and the in room coffee was even drinkable! A tailored drum group was wonderful entertainment and our walk to the show at the Nob Hill Masonic was steep, but brief.
Liked: Quiet room; comfy bed; great shower and towels!

The hotel itself is very nice, however the room was extremely small, and "no frills". For $250 per night (w/taxes), and $45 + Tax, I know we could've done better.
Liked: Fairly comfortable.
Disliked: Too expensive for a very average, no frill room.

Will book again.
Liked: Heated pool was nice and well maintained and the whole pool area has a nice vibe, location of hotel is nice (close to all nice stores), gym is nice, and staff is very very welcoming and cooperative, especially concierge and cloak room.
Disliked: AC was not adjustable much. I could not alter the room temperature to a a temperature number of my choice. All I saw were some modes I could set it to which was still fine.

Relaxing and good sushi
Liked: Location
Disliked: Pricey and including a 20% gratuity on an already expensive meal at a bar in an already expensive hotel seems out of line. Im already a good tipper and I’d like to be the one determining the value of the individual servers. I believe they will be better at their job if the want to make more money.
