Overall clean, safe and beautiful...

Liked: We stayed 6 nights in this hotel. The property is very nice, clean and it feels historic. It’s also very pretty from the street. They help you with your bags from the door. There is a bar/small restaurant attached so that is nice. The air conditioning worked perfectly. We like to be cold at night and we were very comfortable. The metro is less than a 1 minute walk from the hotel and it has connections to get you where you want to go quickly. The decor was nice. Dark woods and traditional. Very clean and pretty room. Our room was on the 1st floor facing the courtyard so our room was on the darker side but had a nice terrace attached which was nice for our family of four. I felt very safe. The hallways were beautiful in this hotel (maybe my favorite part). Two lifts that worked well. The room was cleaned daily and they did a good job. A LOT of closet space in our suite.
Disliked: No rooftop bar or area to have a drink on top. (However, the front patio bar on the ground floor has a beautiful view of the Arc which we did use and had a great time.) To add breakfast to my reservation would have been over $200 per morning for my family of four so we didn’t get it. Not my favorite location. One street over from the Champs-Elysées, but very touristy. (My fault because I knew the location before I booked, but it just wasn’t what I was looking for.) Very close to the Arc de Triopmhe which is very beautiful each day but every restaurant seemed expensive because of it and every shop was designer. We were with my kids and ended up not spending much time in the area of our hotel. If you want to walk out of your hotel to a little market or small restaurants and shops close together then this is not it.

Excellent stay in Paris

Liked: Location is excellent , you can see the arc of triumph from the balcony ( in junior suites at least not sure about the other rooms) but it’s still in a quiet area since all the tourists are on the parallel boulevard which is just cross the road. It’s very close to metro and bus stations if you want to take public transportation. The hotel is very clean and the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The food in the restaurant was nice.
Disliked: Nothing
