Long lines at check-in - only two people checking in a line back to the front door. You would think that a hotel by a convention center would be used to large numbers of people checking in at one time! We went to the bar/restaurant. Actually sat at the bar. It took the bartender at least 10 minutes to wait on us. Would not change the channel on the TV to show an Elite Eight basketball game. Then, when we finally got to our room, we were given double beds, although I requested a king when I reserved the room (back in November)! When I called the front desk, the gentlemen told me that I had requested two double beds when I reserved the room. I told him I had requested a king bed and he argued with me. I told him I had a copy of my confirmation email that indicated a king bed and that I would bring it to him and show him. Then he finally backed down and gave us a king bed room. Service was poor; definitely overpriced for the service they provide! Probably won't go back.

Liked: Convenient for a concert.
Disliked: Not worth the price!

The overall experience and appearance of Hotel Murano was one of the best I have ever experienced. Having been born and raised in Tacoma and coming back to enjoy a concert at this location was very much a vacation. I will NEVER stay anywhere else for a concert at the Tacoma Dome.

Liked: Beautifully remodeled hotel with tastefully appointed guest rooms.

Disliked: the double room had no hotel/surrounding area info to refer to; and only 1 chair.

Great place to stay need...

Liked: Very friendly staff. Clean hotel. Enjoyed the glass work throughout the building.
Disliked: Elevators are finicky, they don't always read the cards and end up going to the first floor before going just one floor up or down.

Liked: That I was big a spacious but our room was little.
Disliked: The hotel seemed to be old. Our room was so tiny for the price I paid. The carpet everywhere in that place and in our room was bunched up. That whole place looks like it could be remodeled. For the price I paid I was expecting for it to be more elegant and up to date.

Liked: Lobby and bar are beautiful, stunning actually. Room was clean and mattress was surprisingly very comfortable. I had a good night sleep.
Disliked: Room did both match the lobby. Room was ok at best. It was quite old and worn out. Wallpaper was coming off, bed skirt had holes.

Liked: Love the property. It is well appointed, clean , and comfortable. The location is close to my family, which is why I came to town.
Disliked: I don’t like that the lobby smells of cigarettes someitimes as there is a bar in the lobby. I don’t know if people actually smoke inside or if it comes in from the outside. The rooms are clean and smoke free.

Liked: The staff was friendly and accommodating.
Disliked: It was very run down. Broken panels in the elevators, cracked walls, cracked sink, and overall a lot of repairs were needed. The shower was very old and not very nice. We also didn't have hot water for hours after waking up to shower and the parking lot didn't have enough spots to park our car even after paying $25 to park onsite.
