Very good

thankfully only one night. cost...

Liked: reception was ok. bathroom not to bad
Disliked: 5th floor and lift out of action.smell of kebabs everywhere.clutter and dimly lit corridors and stairs.not that clean.electrical accessories and lights well past there sell by date

All in all it was...

Liked: close to the train station and the hop on hop off bus, room looked nice, beds were comfortable, staff was friendly and also allowed us to leave our luggage there and to check in earlier than planned
Disliked: the lamp above the toilet is broken and turned off after a few seconds, the toilet was very weak and we weren’t able to flush anymore - even after the cleaning service fixed it it was still „broken“ and couldn’t flush again, the showerhead is not in the best condition anymore and it was kind of hard to shower properly - if possible replace the showerhead for the next visitors

Get what you pay for.

Liked: The hotel was at a very cental location. It is very basic, nothing fancy. You get what you pay for here.
Disliked: I personly was not bothered by the area, but other travelers who are not acustom to "basic hotels" close to a main train station in Germany might find the area a bit scary.
