DO NOT STAY HERE! BED...

Disliked: EVERYTHING! Our room was infested with bedbugs and when we brought this to the hotels attention they completely ignored the severity of the situation. The staff made no effort to fix or control the situation, after ignoring us and talking between each other for a significant period, they said there was another room available. We asked for this room to be checked before we move all of our luggage and slept on the bed, they refused and accused us of lying about the bedbugs in the first place. They were extremely rude and argued with us about the situation, but after much deliberation, one staff member took us to the new room to “check it” and the second she walked through the door said “as you can see there’s no bed bugs”. We explained that wasn’t acceptable and asked her to throughly check the bed and mattress and whilst there were no signs of bed bugs on this mattress, it was filthy with dirt stains and other crushed bugs under the sheets. We had made it clear that we were not going to remain for the rest of our stay, following that night and asked to be refunded the money due to this incident and were told to contact the manager and there was nothing else they could do. We have since done so and received no response from any management. This was now 2 days ago and we still have no reply. We eventually decided we didn’t feel safe or comfortable to spend any night at the hotel, so had to find emergency accommodation at 3am that morning. However, between discovering the bedbugs/lettting the staff know and us checking out early that morning, we still had access to the bed bug infested room, as we had to removed our belongings, yet no staff or cleaners had come to check on this room or make any effort to contain or control the problem. This is absolutely unacceptable and was dealt with extremely poorly. Please do not stay at this hotel, it is not clean or safe!
