Exceptional

Hotel with great location and...

Liked: Location was great with fabulous views of Lisbon. The Veranda Restaurant a must do for fine food and wine. Service exceptional.
Disliked: Bathroom floor needs a a good as badly stained. Disappointed by reception as not a smooth process. Rooftop bar staff seemed to ignore us before being served.

3 days journey to Lissabon...

Liked: Good breakfast at the hotel and very nice room. Everything really classy and really can not recommend this hotel enough. Top floor bar with fantastic view and great experience. Also relaxed bar 1st floor. But location is perfect for first trip to the city. Close to everything and for us parking under the plaza in front of hotel. See in picture view from our room window also outside view of hotel from plaza.

Would recommend this hotel for...

Liked: The hotel has a rooftop terrace bar with views over Lisbon and in the shadows of the castle. Stunning at night.garden
Disliked: NA

Service was amazing, thank you!

Liked: Location was very central and breakfast was included for all guests.
Disliked: It would have been nicer if the rooms were bigger to accommodate a family of 4.

Disappointing

Huge rooms, great location, ample...

Liked: Location was great for people fit and capable of walking, but that is Lisbon in general. Rooms were huge, clean and comfortable. Rooftop bar had great views. Breakfast had a great selection of hot and cold foods.
Disliked: The hotel is a maze. Its quite big and not signed very well. Dated, but with European charm. The couple of staff members we encountered weren't overly helpful, but there were a LOT of staff, maybe we were just unlucky.

Liked: Location and modern communal areas. Breakfast and staff food.
Disliked: Rooms dated, no walk in shower and twin room unable to open wardrobe as bed obstructing
