A must stay when visiting...
Liked: What a find! We have just arrived back from a 4 day trip - 4 girlfriends. This hotel did not disappoint at all! From the old fashioned reception that smelt lovely as you walked in, to the water and glasses for a welcome drink and the sweets at the desk to the beautiful rooms with everything you need including toiletries, shower cap, cotton wool pads, mini bar (payable), safe, slippers, ear plugs and of course tea and coffee making facilities. The breakfast was excellent too. Fried, scrambled and boiled eggs, sausages, bacon, cold meats, cheeses, fruit, yoghurt and pastries as well as cereal.Staff at reception were lovely too and nothing was too much trouble. This hotel is a must if staying in Prague with only a 10 minute walk into the city.
Disliked: Absolutely nothing!

Looks great online, but reality...
Liked: Nice rooms and very clean bathrooms, good beds. Correct breakfast buffet.
Disliked: I stayed two nights at Hotel Mucha and wouldn’t recommend it. The experience didn’t match the polished online photos, and although the rooms were clean and recently refurbished, the rest was disappointing. The hotel sits on a dirty, uncomfortable street that smells of urine and dog waste. The building’s facade is run-down and nothing like what you see online. It doesn’t feel safe, especially at night. Just walking a few hundred meters toward the city center, the atmosphere improves dramatically.Inside, the reception feels more like a forgotten back office—dark, outdated, no bar, no lounge, nowhere to sit. It’s not the experience you expect from a four-star hotel.Noise was a serious problem. Floors and doors echo, and my premium room was right next to the elevator shaft. The noise from it running late into the night and early in the morning made sleeping nearly impossible. On top of that, the building has no proper ventilation. The air turns stale quickly. If you open a window, you get either street noise or mosquito bites. I woke up covered in them after cracking the bathroom window. My friends had to sleep with the window open just to breathe.Tiny TV in my room, I needed binoculars !The shower had no thermostatic control—the water temperature constantly swung from hot to cold. And the room layout didn’t help either. Mine was long and narrow, with a tiny TV so far from the bed it was useless. A real disappointment.Breakfast is served in a basement tunnel where sound echoes aggressively. One morning I measured over 94 decibels—kids screaming, dishes clattering—it was more of an assault than a meal.To their credit, the staff offered to move us to another hotel, which quietly confirmed they were aware of the issues. I found much better options nearby with beautiful lounges, rooftop terraces, and quiet rooms at half the price.Despite clean rooms, Hotel Mucha fails across the board, It’s not a 4-star experience and was a mistake to book. I won’t return.

Very enjoyable experience
Liked: I had a short enjoyable stay at hotel mucha! This is a very nice, clean and well run hotel. My room in the sixth floor had a nice view over the city, was spacious and i liked the overall design! Bonus points if you are interested in mucha the painter as you have many of his paintings on the floor walls. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about prague and czechia which i valued. Breakfast, shower and ac all very good, location is close to metro and bus station florenc in one of my preferred parts of prague. Highly recommended, would stay again!
