Hotel Morand (Pet-friendly)

Friendly staff in a great...

Liked: Pleasing calm decor and friendly helpful staff. There was an electric jug and mugs in the room so you could make a cup of tea (but BYO teabags). Great breakfast. Near the station and the important places to visit.
Disliked: I couldn't find a switch for the extractor fan in the shower room. Maybe it's been rewired lately and this was not connected. There was a little mould on the shower room ceiling

Pleasant stay close to train...

Liked: Hotel Morand is less than a ten minute walk from the train station and easy to find. The hotel itself is a little worn around the edges, but it is clean and the staff is very helpful and professional. The breakfast is in what seems to be an old fashioned living room and is a pleasant place to enjoy breakfast, which includes many options. For one or two nights, I would recommend Hotel Morand

Liked: Location and friendly people.
Disliked: Nothing that we didn’t know about. A bit of a misunderstanding about the car parking. When it says don’t insert your card and n the machine I think it meant don’t insert your bank card not the card from the hotel. We paid twice I think but that’s just translation.
