Disliked: No parking although advertisedRoom was a total disaster with no headroom

Liked: Great location. Comfy, clean, great breakfast. Parking available at adjacent underground parking station. They stored our luggage after check out while we explored the city. Staff super helpful.
Disliked: Nothing - perfect for us.

Liked: Friendly welcome to this traditional small hotel. Good sized room and shower. I have slept in semi-timbered bedrooms before, but I have never had a semi-timbered shower! Very secure bike storage. Good breakfast. Near to the station. Easy access to the centre.
Disliked: There was a bad smell coming from a drainhole in the bathroom.

Very nice little local hotel.

Liked: The owners and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. (Unfortunately, we were there during an unusual heat wave, and there is no AC, but that is not the hotel's fault!) The breakfast was very nice with a variety of options, including boiled eggs, granola, yogurt, dried fruits and nuts, in addition to the usual bread and pastries. The hotel is in a great location between the train station and the center of town. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Friendly staff in a great...

Liked: Pleasing calm decor and friendly helpful staff. There was an electric jug and mugs in the room so you could make a cup of tea (but BYO teabags). Great breakfast. Near the station and the important places to visit.
Disliked: I couldn't find a switch for the extractor fan in the shower room. Maybe it's been rewired lately and this was not connected. There was a little mould on the shower room ceiling

Pleasant stay close to train...

Liked: Hotel Morand is less than a ten minute walk from the train station and easy to find. The hotel itself is a little worn around the edges, but it is clean and the staff is very helpful and professional. The breakfast is in what seems to be an old fashioned living room and is a pleasant place to enjoy breakfast, which includes many options. For one or two nights, I would recommend Hotel Morand
