Liked: NOTHING IS GOOD!
Disliked: My recent stay at Hotel Monville was marred by a series of unfortunate events that significantly detracted from my overall experience. Despite the hotel's promising reviews and seemingly reputable status, the reality of my visit was far from satisfactory, leading me to caution potential guests about what they might encounter.First and foremost, the valet parking service, which one would expect to be reliable and careful, was anything but. My vehicle was returned with a conspicuous scratch on the steering wheel, a clear sign of careless handling and a lack of respect for personal property. The distressing part of this ordeal was not just the damage itself but the hotel’s response to the incident. When brought to the attention of the reception manager, Abir, the response was underwhelming. The lack of accountability and failure to provide a satisfactory solution only added insult to injury, leaving me feeling disregarded and undervalued as a guest.Adding to the disappointment was the unbearable noise issue in the room. The constant disturbances at all hours made rest and relaxation impossible, significantly impacting the comfort and enjoyment of my stay. For a hotel that prides itself on providing a peaceful and welcoming environment for its guests, this was a glaring oversight.Moreover, basic amenities that one would expect to be in working order were not. The TV remote control, for instance, was non-functional throughout my stay. Despite multiple attempts to have it replaced or fixed, the issue remained unresolved, further exemplifying the lack of attention to guest comfort and satisfaction.In conclusion, my experience at Hotel Monville was far from the relaxing and hassle-free stay I had anticipated. The negligence displayed by the valet parking service and the indifferent response from the management, coupled with the noise pollution and overlooked amenities, reflect poorly on the hotel's commitment to guest satisfaction.

NIGHTMARE
Liked: Good breakfast.The room was clean.City view.
Disliked: The room we booked was a more expensive "higher floors" option. It turned out to be a nightmare - the AC/ Vent equipment ( serving the whole building ), located above made it absolutely impossible to sleep. I wonder why the receptionist gave us the room that is exactly under the source of noise, when the hotel was far from being fully booked. The receptionist told us that she will send someone to check, but it never happened. On the checkout day, they sent a technician who agreed that there is nothing he could fix. If you wish to pay $250+/night to sleep with earplugs on in a tiny room, hotel Monville is your best choice.

perfect design hotel in walking...
Liked: The room and overall design was excellent and we enjoyed the breakfast included in our rate very much. Location is great too.
Disliked: not much really - there was a bit of a smell in the elevator but I am sure the issue was solved

Great weekend getaway
Liked: Big, comfy bed, gorgeous view of downtown Montreal. Great breakfast.
Disliked: Bathroom was really small, that's about it.
