We had concerns about the...

Liked: Breakfast was simple, yet good. Staff was helpful. Things not in the room (cutlery/plates) were readily provided at the front desk. The room was spacious, clean and quiet. TV and wifi worked as you would expect them to.
Disliked: The location was a bit far from tourist locations (20-30 minutes by car), but this was not a big deal. Our car got dirty in the parking lot under the highway from stuff running off of the highway when it rained. Again, not a big deal.

Great trip and stay.

Liked: Everyone spoke English and were very helpful. Bed was very comfortable, slept very well.
Disliked: Price was a bit high, and it faced a busy highway. It's a far way from the train station, but once you know transit, you're good.

Liked: Seemingly clean room except for bed. See below
Disliked: Location - view of highway!!We stayed hotel Metropolitan establishment last night having booked it several months ago.While the room was adequate and clean, we were dismayed to discover a plethora of hairs and a stain on the bed on one side after my wife, very tired, pulled back the covers to retire for the night. Examination revealed that the sheet was dirty, and obviously had not been changed since the previous occupant.When we called the front desk, we were told that they could not move our room because the hotel was busy. My wife had to instruct her to have someone bring clean sheets. She was not apologetic.The man who came to bring new sheets was very personable (he took pictures as well), but he was not a housekeeper, and we had to help him make the bed!

Room was fine and staff...

Liked: The rooms were spacious and the shower was decent. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Breakfast was poor and the hotel was not located in a good area of Montreal so didn’t feel particularly safe at times.

Overall, I recommend this hotel...

Liked: I was worried about a parking lot where many people said that it were not satisfied due to a lack of supervision and maintenance. However, I experienced the parking lot as good enough to use and easy to access. No dirt and risk at all.Overall, I recommend this hotel to those who value cost-effectiveness.-. Food: Breakfast is good to start a light morning. Served hot foods like sausage, eggs, and potatoes. -. Staff: Kind and smiling-. Room size: Good size compainrg another 5-star hotel.-. Room floor: Vinyl floor was better than carpet.
Disliked: Overall, the bathroom was not bad, but it should be cleaned the water moss.Coffee at the restaurant tasted like paper.
