Hotel Monte Carlo Ocean City

Good

Liked: Location was great. Pool and hot tub was also a plus! Balcony was cute
Disliked: Our room wasn't very clean. Almost like they remade the beds but didn't put on clean sheets. Piles of sand were under the blankets and all over. Th3 pull out couch had melted gummies stuck to it and the springs were popping out so hard to sleep on for the kids. Def needed to be updated. The shower barely worked or water came out to wash your hair.

Disliked: Parking and not being able to park at the place free like it always has been everywhere we have stayed before.And being handicapped and you only had 2 spots for the hotel and my daughter was also handicapped and had to park across the road 8

Liked: Great location and friendly staff.
Disliked: Room was not clean. Smelled of sour milk but was cleaned up shortly after informing staff. Bathroom was outdated and the drain was clogged the majority of my stay. Also the pull-out sofa bed had blood/period stains. We purchased a blow-up mattress nearby and used that. Everything ran out such as hand soap, conditioner. No hair dryer and when asked the first time we were told they had none, we needed to speak with a manger to get one. TV remote did not work, the ice bucket leaked, and the fridge did not shut. It was one thing after another of having to ask for things. We will not be back.

Liked: We enjoyed the closeness to the beach. Safe in the room to keep valuables safe.
Disliked: A multitude of things: The carpet had food left over from previous clients. Both shampoo and hand soap were empty. Snot rockets/boogers on the wall. Dirty bedding. Hair on bedding. Stains on bedding.Only 2 handicap parking spots, had to park 2 blocks away, parking lot across the street from the hotel was full and no handicap as well. The staff was not very understanding. The pool bar was not available until the weekend.

Exceptional

Liked: The pool it was clean and nice. Not a far walk to the boardwalk.
Disliked: Parking is bad but I paid for premium parking so I got to park in front of the building
