Good Chinatown location but WAY...

Liked: Really liked the Chinatown location of the hotel (although was a bit dodgy in the dark late at night near the railway station) and the reception staff was nice too, but for the price I paid (£200 a night / that's around $280) I was expecting more. It was a tiny, poky room, not brilliantly clean, tatty bathroom. For what it was I felt it should have cost around £60 / $80 tops...That said, I did sleep well and it did meet our needs. It just wasn't that nice. Can I recommend the Shanghai 21 restaurant (about a ten minute walk away) for dinner? It shuts at 8.30pm though and is VERY popular, so be sure to get there early for a table....
Disliked: Cleaner room. The bath was yucky....didn't even want to shower in it.

Great price, comfortable rooms, and...

Liked: Everything was very clean and smelled nice. Despite being next to the train tracks, the rooms were well-insulated and quiet.
Disliked: The location felt a little unsafe at night, although we never experienced any threatening behavior. Other than that it was amazing!
