Hotel Midtown Milano

Wouldn’t recommend it to anyone...

Liked: Location was okay
Disliked: All descriptions/ images are misleading nothing matches the actual Room was in very bad condition, smelled awful. Clogged shower.No towels, paper products or soap and above all no one was at the front desk the whole 3 days

Its ok

Liked: The room was clean, the bed was confortable. It was useful to have a sink in the bedroom.
Disliked: The staff was unfriendly. We didnt have air conditioner, as there was apparantely a problem with it, so they bought fans for the rooms. The problem was that they got it into the room without us being there, I dont like when people get into the room unannounced as we had our things

No internet and bad reception

Liked: It was cheap and not far from the station
Disliked: There was no internet in my room and when asking the reception I didn’t receive any help, also said included AC and had to get into an argument for the reception to help provide that.

Very disappointing..

Liked: Nothing. I had to have a phone call with the owner at reception before I was allowed to check in and get keys to my room. Insects on floor and and bed
Disliked: Woke up to arguments in the middle of the night. Apparently a creepy man had some how gone into another female tenants bedroom and was sleeping on the bed. This noise went on for atleast 3 hours during the night. I contacted the accommodation first via reception phone but no one picked up as no one was on shift all night I’m guessing and then via booking but nothing was done for hours I even had to go out to resolve the issue myself. In the afternoon I finally found someone at reception to explain what had happened but no apologies or concerns was given. I have never experienced such a disappointing situation. I honestly would not recommend unless you’re stuck and I’m definitely not coming back!

Disliked: A lot of people paying to this hotel and coming without possibility to come in. There 24 reservation desk is written on web site. I wrote message to them that we have flight at 23.00 and and will come around midnight. They approved booking but just leave the place and close the door. We are staying with other guests who paid for night there with bags and can’t come in. Arabs work there on reception who don’t speak English and very rude. We 2 women were even scared being there. It was the worst experience in my life staying in that ugly place!!

Disliked: Warning – Extremely Disappointing and Unsafe Experience!I booked this hotel through Booking.com based on the information provided, but everything was completely different upon arrival.1.There was no 24/7 reception, even though it was clearly stated in the description. Nobody was available around the clock.2.No air conditioning, although it was listed as included – we were told we had to pay extra for it.3.The door to our room couldn’t be locked. We tried to notify someone, but there was no one we could reach directly. We called during the day to ask for the door to be fixed, but the man on the phone just said he didn’t know when he could come.When we returned in the evening, a strange man was sleeping in our bed. We immediately called the police, who initially refused to help. We ended up calling an ambulance just to get any kind of assistance. They tried to help but weren’t able to solve the issue either.When we asked for compensation, the hotel staff told us it was our own fault for not locking the door, even though it was literally impossible to do so.Bottom line: This place is unsafe, misleading, and absolutely unprofessional. I strongly advise against staying here – especially for solo travelers or families. What happened to us was not just unacceptable, it was dangerous.
