Liked: We really loved our stay in this hotel. The biggest part of that is the most wonderful, warm and accommodating staff! They went above and beyond for us! The bed is one of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept in. We were traveling with our dog and the hotel is also super dog friendly. Good noise cancellation in the rooms. We booked room with lounge access and it was a nice place to grab some light food and drinks. Breakfast of good too with lots of options. At the end of our trip we also got return gifts which was totally unexpected and very thoughtful,
Disliked: We liked our stay. Nothing could be done better or differently

Liked: We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Merkur! The receptionist was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The room was clean, the bed very big comfortable, and the location is just perfect – everything is within walking distance. We also received a lovely little welcome gift, which was such a thoughtful touch. Free parking just a few minutes away was another great bonus. And they even let us extend the parking for a few more hours at no extra charge. Highly recommend this place – would love to come back!

Poor

Liked: The breakfast and choice is good, and the food is filled up often. The staff are friendly, but they seem to have exactly the same speech to all guests. No personal conversation.The hotel is situated ok, not too far to walk to town.
Disliked: The shower is totally useless. The glass door is at the wrong end of the bath, and the shower holder is very loose, and held with only one screw. We told the staff and they said it was like it in most rooms. The water goes everywhere. They would not be able to fix it while we stayed there. The toilet only flushes with the long flush button, and then a short while after the water free flows. A little annoying as we had to press the button again a few times to stop it flowing
