Overall the stay was ok...

Liked: The location is super, the food selection is very good and tasty. The staff were helpful.
Disliked: We as couple got the room with 2 bunk beds + crib + double bed. It was just the box with the beds. No place to put suitcases. Shower floor was very slippery. We didn’t like the room at all. Bad internet.

Disgusting sewage smell in bathroom,...

Liked: Excellent location, nice lobby, room is spacious
Disliked: There was a slightly weird smell emanating from the bathroom when we arrived. In the morning it was unbearable, a very strong sewage smell that penetrated the entire room. We had to close the bathroom door and we were unable to use it. We told reception that we were unable to use the bathroom because of the foul smell, they just shrugged and said it happens.

Disliked: From the picture on booking.com I thought it was a historic building- I obviously didn’t take in the detail accurately.Even so, Rouen has about two thousand half-timbered buildings and they are all around the hotel so lovely to stay in such a historic centre.
