Liked: The Reception staff were friendly, very helpful and gave us some great tips about where to go and what to do. The room was very comfortable, and it was nice to have some complimentary drinks in the fridge as there are no shops nearby to buy snacks / drinks. Great location, everything less than a few minutes walk away, and the tram network right across the road.
Disliked: Breakfast was quite chaotic, with quite a few items of food and drink running out and slow to be replaced (sausage, scrambled eggs, almond milk, coffee machine...). Also, there are very few alternative choices for those who can not consume dairy products, and so we did not have breakfast there on the 2nd and 3rd mornings.

Pleasant with limitations

Liked: Room looked attractive, open & airy. All contact with staff was good.
Disliked: Room seemed to have been designed by someone who never spent more than one night in a hotel. Very little storage and surface space, door opening against mirror, unused space in bathroom. Quite a lot of outside noise.

Disliked: Breakfast, the buffet was empty and nobody was topping it up

Liked: Location was excellent. Decor was very modern with spacious seating area in foyer . Staff were lovely. Nespresso machine in the room was an added bonus.

Liked: The location of the hotel has its pros and cons. If you go there by public transport, it’s very good. However, we went by car. Even though the instructions given by the hotel were clear, it was difficult to navigate. The afternoon we arrived, there was a parade, hence everywhere there were road blocks. We couldn’t get to the restricted area where the hotel was situated. My husband had to drive round and round, and the police were fierce! For lowering the pedestal, we had to get a badge from the hotel. Fortunately there were 3 of us, so my daughter and I walked to the hotel to get the badge when the parade finished. That took us more than one and a half hours, and of course we were frustrated.
