Nice hotel for one night

Liked: Nice bar area with a pool table , room was very clean
Disliked: Not much around it in terms of restaurants / bars etc

Liked: Location and ease from station.
Disliked: Refused to give us coffee and milks for the room although has the facilities like kettle and cups etc .

Liked: Excellent location for exploring the city centre
Disliked: Really bad service in the restaurant. We sat for 25 minutes waiting to be served, despite repeated requests and promises that we would be attended to in “2 minutes”. Eventually, we left and ate in a local restaurant instead (Excellent meal at “Le Grignot”, by the way). Except for the breakfast staff, who were excellent, the staff were generally offhand and unengaged.On arrival, we had to change our room because the bathroom door handle was broken. The receptionist’s response was “ Well, I can’t mend it”

Disliked: When using the smart tv with my phone , the wifi signal was poor, and I had to connect it several times when using the mirroring app.There isn't a direct connection between the parking of the hotel and the hotel itself. We had to get out in the street when it was raining.

Liked: Restaurant was good
Disliked: No air-conditioning, it should not be allowed for them to put this. Parking was blocked by a member of staff causing a big delay. Had to sleep with the window open on a hot evening on a busy road. It would have been best to have booked a cheap hotel as I had to do this. Not offered a refund or remedy when I complained, I was told there is building air-conditioning but it was hotter inside than outside so that is clearly bollocks. I've made a request to booking.com to remove this hotel or at least be more transparrent about the air-conditioning situation. Room was not 4 star. The last photo is the imaginary air conditioning. Really discusted that the hotel did not offer any remedy. I only stayed for 1 night so I didn't want to faff around I just want what I paid for!
