Hotel Mercure Bordeaux Aeroport

I wish that we had...

Liked: Staff were friendly and welcoming even thought we arrived past midnight - rooms were lovely and just what we needed for a good night's sleep. Being able to leave our luggage while we had a quick visit into Bordeaux and then wait in comfort while my husband collected the hire car made me wish we had got more time in the hotel the night before as we'd planned!

Ideal location but hotel is...

Liked: Ideal location with hotel next to airport and excellent parking facilities. Check in & out was easy. Friendly staff.
Disliked: Food very average & overpriced. Decoration is dated. Paper cups in room to drink coffee, cheap toilet paper, for an expensive hotel I’m assuming they are struggling.

Liked: Excellent location, parking
Disliked: One of the rooms had a major problem. The carpet was very wet. We thought it had been shampooed and not dried. However, the issue was the shower. When used, it overflowed and wet the room passageway into the room. The house keeping staff would/should have known about the drainage problem in the shower.Also, we could not get a table for dinner. The manager of the restaurant was quite abrupt. The room service menu wasn’t great, so we had to go out looking for a restaurant. We had selected this hotel because it had a restaurant, we had completed a 11 hour drive to get there at 7.30pm to find we couldn’t eat at the restaurant. It was an inconvenience.
