The lobby was the nicest...

Liked: The lobby and the bar upstairs are beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful
Disliked: There unfortunately was a lot we did not like. First, the room stunk of chemicals from cleaning. It was also very humid inside the room. This was not the main issue though. The worst was that the shower was so gross and stained that neither my partner nor I would step foot in it. Thankfully we were not there long enough for this to be a problem, but this was gross. The what was once white floors were now essentially brown and bone color. The beds were also very uncomfortable with the pillows being hard as a rock.

Disliked: The view from our corner room, was unfortunately not nice at all. Looking down on garbage and roof tops, and electric poles. We chose this room with corner view to have a better room, it also cost more because of this corner window, but with a dirty window and a poor view, it would actually be better to have less glass windows to reduce to the view...Very simply style in the room, looks better on the pictures then in real. Arrived late at night to a freezing cold room.

Liked: Unique downtown location. Great bar on the top floor. Person at check in delivered a gift to my daughter’s room for me. Appreciate that.
Disliked: My room was a handicap room so no bathtub and was large and dark and cold feeling instead of warm and comfy. I paid extra for an ocean view and it was a small window you had to stand at to look at this speck of beach. Misleading. Would not have mattered. There was only a small roll of toilet paper that ran out and there were NO backup rolls to be found! I had to call for more and to call for water because my room was not serviced. Disappointed. The shower water flowed out into the vanity/sink area making a puddle. Had to use most of my towels to wipe it enough to stand on dry tile. The soap in the soap dispenser had a STRONG spa like smell and you could smell it on everyone at the hotel and in the elevator. I was cold and there were no extra blankets. I was charged for 2 breakfasts that I could not attend. Parking was inconvenient and a surprise that there was a fee.

Great hotel, great location!

Liked: I love the vibe of the hotel. The rooftop bar is a great spot! The location downtown is perfect! We stay here each time we come to Melbourne.
Disliked: Parking fees. We parked across the street at the public garage for free but it would have been nice to keep the car in the hotel lot.
