Frustrating and a Rip off

Liked: Location is good. There is a Lounge burger and a starbucks at walking distance. Close to Marina del Rey and easy to reach other places. - The hotel is ok, not great. - Shower is good
Disliked: - Overpriced for what they offer- Only 2 lifts and you have to walk a lot if your room is in the back. Or else you have to take an employee elevator which is old, noise and slow. - You have to book a cleaner to do your room (???) Unbelievable! - We booked the cleaner at 12pm. She came at 2:20pm, knocked on the door angry that we were in the room. As if she was doing a favour… she didn’t clean and only handed 2 towels. Not even in a motel or Inn you have this kind of disservice. - When I booked it says $25 for the parking. When we went there it was $28 PLUS TAXES! So they charged $31 per night for parking. Absurd! and the parking lot is open to the street, not safe at all. Not even a wall or fence protecting from robbers. It is almost as parking on the streets and they rip you off in $31 per night. - Rooms are small compared to other hotels in California. Only if you are alone it is ok.- This hotel should cost MAX $150 a night including breakfast and parking.

Nice, reasonable hotel. Wasn’t disappointed

Liked: Room was fine. Loads of USB ports. We had a room by the lift, but we didn’t hear it.
Disliked: A guest left there dog in there room while they went out. The dog barked for hours. However I understand that this is not the fault of the hotel.

Bad

Disliked: Staff EXTREMELY rude and unreasonable at check in.I booked a room for 3 people with 2 beds, and was assigned to one with one bed only.The staff's excuse for that was that the hotel was fully booked. The front desk gentleman did not have any empathy for the fact that we were 3 people.The whole conversation went bad from the beginning, with the gentleman didn't even apologizing for the mistake (either Booking's or the hotel's mistake, hard for me to assess which one of the two is to blame). In fact, he blamed us right away for "being cheap" and using Booking to book the hotel instead of booking directly with them. In his words, this was a third part issue, not the hotel's.He argued that what the reservation with made with Booking was not a reservation but rather a "request", to use he's own words again.This was just absurd!You make a reservation, you share your card details, get a confirmation saying if you cancel or not show up you'll pay anyway, but when you get to the hotel, surprisingly, it works as if you were just stopping by with no pre reservation subject to the moment's availability. To end, the hotel did have extra single rooms available, but did not offer us to split into two bedrooms. Their "great" offer was for us to use the couch on our one bed room for the third person to sleep. And of course, the front desk gentleman once again did not help with the pillows sheets etc. The bare minimum would be for the hotel to leave our room setup to suit 3 people instead of us discovering it when we entered and were surprised by a single bed (no, the frontdesk gentleman did not warn us about that. He just checked us in and gave as a key, and let us find out by ourselves entering the room).All in all, the hotel does not take accountability for their own bad reservations' management and has the worse customer service ever!!!!!!!

Excellent resort, but not actually...

Liked: Pool area fantasticRooms are clean and nice.
Disliked: Location wasnt as good as i thought, still had to get ubers everywhere, even the Marina itself.Would like to sit by pool with a drink for a while, but not at those drink prices.
