Jewel in the French Quarter.

Liked: We loved everything about this boutique hotel! It was in the center of everything in the French Quarter, and Bourbon St was at the end of the corner. Great location, and at night, it wasn't loud at all. I can't say enough about the staff, from the check-in to housekeeping they were great! Eleusis in Bar Vin was awesome and gave us some great tips, Sonya the night clerk always greeted us as if she knew us and also gave great tips, the night security guard (didn't get his name) always greeted us warmly when we returned and asked how our day went. Debbie Ann, the morning desk clerk, well what can I say about her. In these days of poor customer service, she made us feel welcomed from the moment we walked in the door. The day we arrived was my birthday and she made such a fuss over me, I felt really special. She even gave us a bottle of wine for my bday. She had so many great tips of places to go, tours to book, and we trusted her advice explicitly. She was a joy, and I looked forward to seeing her every morning as if I knew her! The room was impeccably clean, and I am very picky. I did not get any pictures but did make a video. It was a lovely room, just what you would expect in a Boutique Hotel. We loved the black marble floors and the black tiled shower. The beds and the pillows were so comfortable that it was hard to get up each day. If I had to nit pick about anything, it would be to add real mini fridges in the rooms. There is certainly enough room, and the little mini bars they had did not keep our water (supplied by the hotel) cold at all. All in all, we loved this jewel and would definitely stay again!
Disliked: They currently have a mini bar that doesn't keep water, pop, etc. cold at all. They could invest in some real mini fridges that you can control the temp. There is definitely room. Also, microwaves would be nice.

Disliked: Didn't clean room once, maybe twice. Fire alarm at 2:30 am! No coffee in lobby. Should've asked for a blanket - pretty cool in room, but needed air conditioner on.
