Liked: Great location, right in the middle of everything, we had 3 rooms in our group. Two of the rooms near courtyard were noisier due to people in the courtyard. Our room which was further back was very quiet and rooms were comfy. Accidentally left some items in room which the manager was very helpful to get them back to us. Very much appreciated!!!!

Did not like it.
Disliked: It was too old and too weird to stay there. All the windows open to the courtyard and the people walking on the corridor can easily look in. So weird.

Beautiful facility, unhelpful staff
Liked: The rooms were excellent. The staff would not help me in any way with parking for my Class B conversion Van. We left the room at 9 am and the room was never cleaned and when I called the desk, they simply told me the cleaning staff was gone for the day and they would see to the next day (the day we left).
Disliked: The unhelpful staff. There was no food service. The bar was closed.

As close to perfect as...
Liked: The price, location, cleanliness, ease of check in, check out, parking: outstanding. This hotel is walking distance from tons of excellent places to eat, things to do, etc. The staff was very accommodating, although we were fairly low maintenance guests who were only booked for a night. The room was very clean.
Disliked: Two primary areas of complaint: 1. The shower, while quite nice to look at, has only one glass door which covers half of the shower enclosure. It was as if the other half was supposed to have a sliding piece installed, but it just wasn?t there. This is only an inconvenience because water splashes out through the half without a door and pretty much soaks the floor during a short shower, which we soaked up using one of the towels we were provided. The good news is there were plenty of those!2. I have a habit of checking air filters on air conditioning units at places I stay, if they are easily accessible. I?m not really a health freak, but I take this seriously at home and I like to know what?s in the air I?m breathing. The air filter in this unit was basically brand new. I mean it was beautiful. However, the unit itself seemed as though it could not keep the room below 74 degrees. In south louisiana, I like my AC on 69 at night, and I like it to get there. I woke up hot in one night of sleep. The filter in the unit seemed to be a high efficiency filter, and I speculated that removing the filter from the unit completely would allow sufficient air flow to properly cool the room, but I?m not an AC specialist and it?s not my unit, so I left it as it was. Similarly, i examined the door seals and it seemed they were allowing a bit of air into the room, which may have made things more difficult for the unit itself, along with that very nice and clean (but also very restrictive) filter. All in all though, this place is extremely nice and I was VERY pleased with my stay. I truly felt like I was nitpicking to find the things that made this not a perfect stay, all things considered.
