Disappointing

Liked: The hotel has beautiful photos and the attention is super friendly, they offer you a delicious beer.
Disliked: Unfortunately, my room smelled musty, the sheets were dirty, that is, they made the bed very comfortable with used sheets, the bathroom is super small, there are many details of paint, and maintenance, the hallway has the smell of dogs. I have no problem with pets, but I find it unpleasant that the common areas smell like a dog. The staff does not give you tips or alternatives about parking in the nearby area so you fix it yourself is frustrating since it was my first hotel in a new city. I also had a problem in the checkout charge that I had to deal with after days, really exhausting since my payment was anticipated to precisely avoid delays in my checkout.

Short and frugal, nothing special....

Liked: I thought every thing was fairly generic. The rooms are cozy. I liked that the shower is separate form the rest of the bathroom. I don't know about the amenities or facilities as i was not told of any, (even though i was charged for the ability to use them) . Over all the staff was attentive and friendly. Beyond this there was not much that was remarkable.
Disliked: I didn't care for how small the room was. I guess expected a bit more for almost $200 a night (after hotel fees). One would have thought a Continental breakfast would have been in clouded in the price. I also was expecting a more hard rock or blues themes. I stead it felt more like a bathhouse or massage parlour on the upper floors. The free wifi (that im sure was not free) never worked. So after paying $123 and some change for a room that was listed at $78. I was still charged another $25 hotel charge. A $20 facility fee and a 15.6% hotel tax I am sad to say that i would not stay at again or recommend hotel Max.

Comfortable.

Liked: The highlight of this hotel was the friendly and helpful staff. The room itself felt spacious and clean. Theres a nice big flat screen tv. The bed was comfortable. The toilet and sink were in a separate room from the shower. There is a good restaurant right next door to the hotel. It?s walkable to a lot of places like Pikes Place. And handy to light rail to the airport and plenty of buses go by.
Disliked: NA
