Newly renovated in 2010 the Hotel Marta offers good-value rooms in the center of Zürich 5 minutes' walk from Zürich Main Station. Free Wi-Fi is available in the entire building. All rooms in the Marta Hotel have a private bathroom and a flat-screen cable TV. The entire hotel is nonsmoking. Located in the charming Niederdorf quarter the B&B Hotel Marta is only 164 feet away from the Polybahn cog railway to the ETH Zurich. The famous Bahnhofstrasse and Lake Zurich can be reached within a 10-minute walk. Overall it’s was a great...

Liked: Location and proximity from the tram / bus stop & Zurich train station.
Disliked: Basic facilities like hot water kettle, TV, Microwave oven & Refrigerator was not provided in the room.

Liked: The location is unbeatable, right at the edge of the charming Old Town and just a few minutes' walk from the main train station. It made exploring the city on foot incredibly easy.

Closer, functional, and clean.

Liked: Was really close to a lot of things we wanted to visit in Zurich. Everything was practically walking distance.
Disliked: There was no AC. Two fans were provided though. Outside was cool enough for us to leave windows open.

Very good

Liked: Excellent location, superb staff. In terms of Switzerland, where everything is expensive, Hotel Marta offers a very competitive price.
Disliked: Reception closes after 8pm.
