It was a really enjoyable...

Liked: Generous portion at breakfast, of smoked salmon and scrambled egg with pot of tea including hot water and little jug of milk. I could also have had fruit, cereals and yogurt, along with fruit juice if preferred. There was also the full English but I didn’t opt for it.
Disliked: The room furnishings were a little shabby and dated, but still comfortable. Good bathroom.

Comfortable stay in a central...

Liked: Location very central. The hotel was clean and staff helpful. Food was enjoyable and good value for money. Breakfast was excellent. Overall the facilities and food were excellent value for money.
Disliked: No lift to top floor, the weather was hot and the top floor was extremely warm. No fan or even a bottle of water. Would have been a lovely idea to offer residents a glass of iced water if required. I appreciate the weather is out of or control.

Won’t be going back.

Liked: Location
Disliked: It was drab and dismal. Everywhere is in need of refurbishment. The bathroom had nowhere to put toiletries. The toilet rocked and banged whenever it was sat on. One of the towels was stained. The kettle was one side of the room, the cups, teabags/coffee/sugar etc were on a little shelf the other side of the room.The bed was hard and the pillows harder. No lift because it’s a listed building means lots of stairs.
