Hotel Mare Pineta

Amazing location, less amazing service

Liked: Location is amazing. Nice calm pool area and just by the ocean and close to private beach.
Disliked: The Mare Pineta is like a satellite to Flamingo hotels and majority of requests and questions to the staff ended in us having to go 5-10 minutes to the 'mother-hotel' (even a coffee during the afternoon was too much to ask).

Liked: Location. The setting was ideal: remote, serene and calm
Disliked: Wi-Fi access was problematic, also parking was tricky and need to pay tab at a neighboring hotel

Great location, but overall too...

Liked: The location was great, with a nice beach just in front and calm vibes. The breakfast has a good selection and variation of food, but salty options were not too many.
Disliked: The impression given was that the hotel has lived its glory days one day, but now it is not the case anymore. Moreover, the place was listed as a 3-star hotel on Booking, but we realized it was actually a 2-star hotel upon arrival. This wouldn't be necessarily a problem for us per se, but we did pay a considerable sum for one night, so we were expecting a bit more. We weren't too impressed with the diner options and quality either, especially when comparing to other meals we had for the same price (or even cheaper) in Sardegna.
