Lovely pool, great staff
Liked: The staff were lovely. We had a lovely view but felt quite isolated. We would have been disappointed if we hadn't had the car.
Disliked: Breakfast was a bit of disaster. A tour group came and ate everything .....seriously nothing left. It was the end of the season so staff was lighter than usual. The receptionist/manager was fantastic!

It was a great base...
Liked: Loved our sea view room with the balcony. Also, the many spots out on the large outdoor patio. The breakfast and diningroom staff were very efficient and accommodating. The front desk staff was hugely supportive when we needed a bit of extra help. The hotel is capable of accommodating wheelchair needs, which was great.
Disliked: It was difficult to find. The hotel is to see from the SS16, but hard to access, especially in the summer months when Via Europa (which is the access street to the hotel) is closed in one direction. There is a very difficult and awkward route to get under the train track to the Via, which involves through a parking lot and maneuvering around a very tight corner, under a tunnel and then right onto the Via. If you miss this and go under another tunnel, you end up going in the wrong direction, as the street actually switches direction depending on which point you access it. There is no signage explaining any of this -- so really really hard to know what to do as a driver. I ended up parking up the hill and walking to the hotel (in 30C heat), leaving my husband in the car (he is disabled) and getting someone from the hotel to come back with me and help me find the way in. Once I had done it once, I was OK. But it was quite stressful the first time and took me over an hour to figure things out.
