Luxurious, perfectly located, beautiful spot...

Liked: The hotel was in an absolutely perfect location to access all parts of the old city, and in particular was exceedingly close to the summer festival events. The staff are friendly, helpful, and exceedingly professional. The rooms are beautifully appointed, spotless, and very comfortable. I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel.
Disliked: No complaints whatsoever.

Great location, great breakfast, helpful...

Liked: Great location. Perfect for exploring old town. Staff were helpful from the moment we arrived. Our room for four was divided into two separate rooms with a tv in each, which was great for giving us all some space. Breakfast was a delicious mix of cereal, pancakes, fruit and savouries such as eggs and bacon.
Disliked: Nothing.

Disliked: As we had requested no stairs, this was not available. They did have rooms on a first floor and there was an elevator but we had to use stairs

Liked: It was close to everything and our room was so quaint and clean. Breakfast was very good and the staff were delightful.

Rigid management put a damper...

Liked: The room was attractive and the croissants at breakfast were great.
Disliked: The parking was not as easy as they indicated and the directions for scanning the parking card were inaccurate. The machines in the garage and one on the street were either not working or operating correctly. As a result, we ended up paying for parking twice! The older man who was training the new reception person and managing the staff said he was not able to help us with the double payment as he was not the owner. There was no way to get help on this matter so we just had to eat the extra money for our 3 night stay. Not going back, plenty of other nice hotels in this wonderful city.

Liked: The location was absolutely amazing, right in the heart of the old town. It was a unique and memorable experience to stay in an old building that has been converted into a hotel. Everything was very clean.
Disliked: The room was quite small, and considering the limited space, there were too many items and furniture inside. With a more minimal setup, the room could feel more spacious and comfortable. Some elements in the room needed maintenance — for example, the bathroom fan was very loud and definitely needs servicing.Also, the TV was placed too far from the bed, and it was quite small for the room. A larger, more modern TV would improve the experience, especially in a slightly bigger and more updated room.The rooms did not have a coffee maker or microwave, which would have made the stay more convenient. In addition, the breakfast area closes at 10 AM, and the small room near the entrance — where guests can access hot water and tea bags — is also locked by 9 PM. It would be much more guest-friendly if the hotel provided a 24-hour self-service station in the lobby, ideally with a proper coffee machine instead of just a hot water dispenser. This would greatly improve convenience, especially for those who prefer hot beverages outside the limited service hours.
