Pleasant stay at Hotel Lumberjack.

Liked: Location was great. Near quaint downtown. Room was new feeling. Maid staff was excellent. Registration staff was helpful.
Disliked: TV guide was weird. They should upgrade to a modern cable company. But everything else was good

Liked: The room is nice, clean and newly remodeled.If not for the breakfast and unhelpful staff it would be a good place to stay
Disliked: First of all the, don't be fooled by 'breakfast included'. We ended up going somewhere else. This was a bad joke and not a breakfast, never seen anything like that. The breakfast consisted of some prepacked pastries, hard boiled eggs and pancakes that you could bake yourself, however the dough was store bought and looked extremely artificial.Second of all. When checking in, their system apparently had an issue and haven't registered payment for my room and I was forced to pay again even though money has already been taken from my account. The money got returned to me only after 2 weeks!

Stylish and friendly motel in...

Liked: High quality and stylish! Nice design touches give this place the edge over similar motels. The rooms feel fresh, clean, modern with cute retro touches. Bed was just a bit soft for us but everything else was perfect. Love the pool (at sister hotel across the street)--super clean too. Breakfast is better than average--HB eggs, self-made waffles, yogurt, ccereals, muffins, bagels, fruit. Staff are super!

A descent hotel for a...

Liked: The staff were very helpful and efficient during the check in process. When extra unknown charges showed up on our bill, they did their best to sort things out quickly for us. The room was fairly comfortable, and the location was within walking distance of the main street with restaurants and shops - even though many of them were closed.
Disliked: The barn style door to the bathroom was very heavy and hard to open and close. We were there for 5 nights so it would have been nice to have some drawers to put our clothes in, but since the room was very small there was no room for any furniture other than the bed. We had placed the "please make up room" sign on the door on the 3rd day for fresh towels and a fill of the body wash container, however, upon our return, nothing was done. We check with the main desk and they assured us it would be done the next day. Well, they filled the body wash, but no fresh towels - not even the one they would have stepped on in the bathroom. Very disappointed with the housekeeping service. The pool was also across the street in their sister facility so that wasn't expected either.
